scrcpy (C) — Display and control your Android device
You build or test Android apps and want to mirror, control and record a real device from your laptop.
CLI & Dev Tools · Media & Files
Displays and controls an Android device from your desktop over USB or Wi-Fi, with no root and nothing installed on the phone. Written in C, latency is low enough to play games on, and it records screen output straight to file. For anyone shipping a mobile app it removes an entire category of annoyance — you demo, debug and screen-record from the same keyboard you code on. Tradeoff: it is a raw tool, not a product. Some devices need developer options and USB debugging enabled by hand, and wireless mode drops when the network is congested. Apache-2.0, maintained by Genymobile, and the release cadence has stayed steady for years.

You need iOS, or you want a polished GUI rather than a command-line tool with flags.
