SingleFile (JavaScript) — Web Extension for saving a faithful copy of a complete web page in a single HTML file
You need a faithful, offline-readable archive of a web page rather than a PDF or screenshot.
CLI & Dev Tools · Media & Files
Saves a complete web page as one self-contained HTML file, with images, styles and fonts inlined. Not a screenshot and not a print-to-PDF — the saved page stays selectable, searchable and readable exactly as rendered, years later, with no network access. For research, documentation of a page at a point in time, or archiving something you expect to disappear, this is the correct tool. Browser extension plus a CLI. AGPL-3.0. Tradeoff: inlining everything makes files large, single-page applications that fetch content after load capture incompletely, and anything behind a paywall saves the state you could already see, not more.
You need a faithful, offline-readable archive of a web page rather than a PDF or screenshot.
You are archiving heavy JavaScript applications, or file size matters more than fidelity.
