EDITOR'S DEEP TAKE

A CLI that saves a web page as a single HTML file with every asset embedded — the command-line counterpart to SingleFile, and the one you reach for when archiving needs to be scripted across hundreds of URLs. Rust, CC0, so effectively public domain. Flags let you strip JavaScript, block specific asset types, or cap resource sizes, which matters when archiving at volume. Two honest notes: it fetches the page as delivered, so JavaScript-rendered content is missed unless you pre-render, and the last push at time of writing was several months back — stable and finished-feeling rather than actively developed.

Use this if

You archive web pages in bulk from scripts or cron and want single-file output with no browser involved.

Skip if

The pages render their content in JavaScript, or you want an interactive browser extension instead.
